Are the bike tours safe?
The majority of these routes will be on Pittsburgh’s paved trail system, with minimal to moderate on-road biking. We rate our tours from easy to hard:
Easy = mostly trails with little to no incline
Moderate = 50/50 trail to road, with some inclines
Hard = expect a healthy amount of on-road or uphill biking!
We provide helmets for tour participants and our tour guides carry First Aid kits for minor scrapes.
What happens if it rains?
Golden Triangle Bike reserves the right to cancel a tour in the event of conditions that will jeopardize the safety of our riders. In the event that a tour is canceled, you may reschedule free of charge or request a full refund.
